We have always been drawn to the outdoors.  Luckily we are in good company and are following in the footsteps of others seeking the Final Frontier.  The Chilcotin Country is a plateau and mountain region in British Columbia on the west-side of the Fraser River.  Known for wild horses and sparse population the area has been attracting those seeking untouched natural beauty for generations.

Chilko Lake Lodge got it's start when a group of German immigrants purchase the land and built the above cabin in the 1940's.  Since then the lodge has changed ownership, but stayed true to its roots of providing pristine wilderness access to owner and guest alike.
